To support local, independent and minority-owned businesses in your neighbourhood.

HOW IT WORKS:

Each business gets a pin on the interactive Glimpse Social map, colour-coded depending on category. Users download the app, browse the map and click on the nearby pins, from restaurants, cafes, beauty salons, gyms, or even grocery stores, to view exclusive content posted by businesses. This content could be a simple advert, a photo of what’s going on that day or even a short video introducing the team, promoting an event, or offering special deals.

WHY USE IT?

Glimpse Social is the key to exploring your neighbourhood to seek out something new and to support those businesses currently struggling to gain visibility. Whether you’re looking for a cool new dinner spot, or the best deal on a haircut, you don’t have to follow the crowds and visit the same big-name corporation. You can even track your favourites to ensure you never miss out on what’s going on.

We’ve become so used to ordering pretty much anything online, whether it’s food delivery, groceries, or anything on Amazon, and we’ve become disconnected with our community. It’s so easy to sit on our sofa and forget to say hi to our neighbours.
